New loading robot for heavy and long workpieces World first for HALTER LOADASSISTANT with 70kg-ROBOT at EMO

HALTER CNC Automation is expanding its range of loading robots for the automation of CNC machine tools with a new solution. It will be presented to the trade public for the first time at EMO Hannover.

The new model is equipped with a robotic arm with increased radius of action and 70 kg load capacity, specially designed for loading and unloading heavy workpieces and for workpieces up to 600 mm in length. Particularly difficult-to-handle workpieces can thus be easily and reliably machined and the machine operator is greatly relieved.

So far, Halter has been able to use the HALTER LoadAssistant Universal and the S-180 and the S-230 process workpieces with a maximum length of 300 mm and a maximum weight of 35 kg. With the Halter LoadAssistant with 70kg robot, these dimensions are doubled.

The new solution's larger loading table also allows significantly more workpieces to be placed in the buffer. With the additional capacity, even longer manless production is possible, allowing CNC machine tools to be used extremely efficiently, reducing unit costs and noticeably increasing productivity.

The product series of the Halter LoadAssistant with 70kg robot is additionally complemented by versions with stacking stations, already known from the HALTER LoadAssistant S-180 and S-230. Allows stackable workpieces up to a diameter of 300mm to be placed in the buffer.
