Getting the most out of software

CAD/CAM packages are now well established in the metal sector. In addition to supplying software specially developed for the metal sector, TOPSOLID Belgium pays a lot of attention to personal support, including training courses and a Userday. Functionalities

There are many useful features. Steylaerts explains some of them. "PDM Multi user" allows you to work with multiple designers on the same project. Freeshape allows intelligence to be added back in when exchanging step files. Linkmovement allows you to determine the movements of the driven head relative to the piece and spindle. By presetting the movements in advance, it is possible to gain time and avoid collisions. These are just a few functionalities that have already proved their worth with many customers."
