New high-quality Boehlerit cutters

As a sales partner for the German market, HORN presents the new high-quality tools from Austrian tool specialist Boehlerit. Until now, the universal turning-drilling tool Pentatec replaced up to five ISO tools and reduced machining times by up to 30 percent thanks to savings in tool change times and tool movements. The new Quattrotec tool system is the intelligent and more advanced machining solution. One product advantage is the new Easy Safe System with groove. A groove on the bottom of the changeover cutting plate guarantees correct and fast installation in the plate holder. With the introduction of the new Quattrotec tool system, the Austrian carbide and tool specialist helps the user save costs in an even much wider range of materials. The four operations full drilling (also off-center), internal turning, surface turning and longitudinal turning can now be performed with little vibration and with only one tool thanks to the special model of the holder. In a comprehensive proven range, Boehlerit combines various hard substrates, with a wear-resistant CVD coating or with a universal and process-safe PVD coating.
